For 15 years the Center of Reproductive Medicine’s Beaumont office has served the Southeast Texas community with a steady growth in locally available treatment options by moving and expanding our facility and increasing our number of highly qualified staff to meet the needs of our patients. All advancements have been made in an effort to increase our patients’ success in reaching their goal of having a family.
At the Center of Reproductive Medicine, we want our patients to know that we understand that infertility is difficult, not only on the physical body, but across all aspects of life. Sometimes, the stress of the emotional journey exceeds that of what is experienced physically.
Beginning Thursday January 25th, from 6-8pm, and continuing on the last Thursday of every month throughout the year, the Center of Reproductive Medicine is offering an open support group.
Our goal is to help those who are experiencing infertility come together and find strength in knowing that they are not alone in their journey. The meetings will be facilitated by Marilyn Bean, our Beaumont Embryologist, who has experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, and cancer.
The format will be fluid and modern, including activities such as learning stress relief techniques, yoga, painting, going for a walk, learning about acupuncture and its benefits in conjunction with treatment and possibly even getting pedicures (Yes, male patients are welcome.. infertility is difficult for men as well. A little pampering goes a long way). We will hear stories of both heartache and success, which will provide strength and hope throughout the journey of our shared goal of extending our families.
1 in 8 people in the United States is battling infertility. Knowing that you are not alone and learning how to both give and accept support is the topic of the first meeting.
We are excited to see you all there, even if you just want to come for the food!
